Sarah is a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital.
She is an experienced paediatric dentist in london having solely treated children since 2004. She has undergone extensive paediatric specialist training in numerous NHS leading teaching hospitals in the UK and has a vast experience in treating complex dental problems in children. She completed her paediatric dental specialist training at the Edinburgh Dental Institute and the Royal London Dental Hospital. Having completed her specialist training she passed the Royal College of Surgeons of England Examination in 2007. She has also carried out research in paediatric dentistry and successfully completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Paediatric dentistry at the University of Edinburgh. Her consultant training was completed at The Royal London Dental Hospital in 2009. She currently works as a NHS Consultant for Barts NHS Health Trust.
Sarah has gained the highest Paediatric Dental qualification in the United Kingdom in the form of the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship examination in Paediatric Dentistry, which is awarded jointly by the English and the Scottish Royal College of Surgeons. She is registered with the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry. Sarah is also a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry.
Her experience as a specialist and a consultant is broad and includes the management of anxious children, dental anomalies, dental trauma, and medically compromised children. She also has extensive experience of treating children under general anaesthesia and sedation.
Although, Sarah is highly trained at treating complex problems in children, she also sees children who require routine dental treatment including preventative dentistry.
