Charlotte Stilwell is a referral specialist in prosthodontics with a leading interest in partial and complete dentures, encompassing solutions to complex prosthodontic problems and meticulous management of occlusion.
Charlotte has combined general dental practice experience with post-graduate hospital based training. She lectures nationally and internationally. Charlotte graduated from the Royal Dental College in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1983 and became a UK registered specialist in prosthetic dentistry in 2000. She moved to London immediately after her graduation to pursue her interest in removable prosthetics. After five years of postgraduate training in the Department of Prosthetics at the Royal London Hospital Dental School, she practiced for nine years in general practice in West Wickham, Kent. In 1997 she moved to a multi-disciplinary referral practice in Harley Street in London. Charlotte is interested in both conventional and implant prosthetics and occlusion. She has published articles and lectured in these areas over the past 30 years. She is an examiner for implant dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and she has held part-time lecturer posts in the Department of Prosthetics at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry as well as the Department of Gerodontology and Removable Prosthetics at the University of Geneva.
