Michael is our Specialist Prosthodontist at Specialist Dental Services and is widely regarded as one of the best prosthodontists in London and the UK. He specialises in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth, bringing together classical dental techniques and cutting-edge digital dentistry to deliver exceptional, bespoke results.
As a trusted implant specialist, crown specialist, veneer specialist and denture specialist, Michael offers a comprehensive range of treatments including dental implants, porcelain crowns, veneers, composite bonding, full and partial dentures (including chrome dentures) and fillings all designed to give you a functional, comfortable and confident smile.
Michael is extremely passionate about the care and well-being of his patients, and in 2018 became a finalist at the prestigious Aesthetic Dentistry Awards.
Professional Training
Michael graduated from Bart’s & The London Dental School in 2013, winning several prizes and passing with a distinction in his final year. Following graduation, he completed his foundation training before moving to Devon, where he subsequently gained extensive surgical experience as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery across the University Hospital Southampton, Royal South Hants Hospital and Royal Hampshire County Hospital.
In 2015, Michael was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. That same year, he embarked on three years of formal specialty training in Prosthodontics at Bart’s & The London Dental School, where he completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry and successfully passed the Diploma of Membership in Prosthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
During this period, Michael also conducted a clinical trial at Queen Mary, University of London (QMUL), assessing patient satisfaction with different biting patterns of dentures — reinforcing his expertise as a specialist in denture provision and clinical research.
Current Professional Roles
Michael is an internationally recognised prosthodontist and implant specialist, invited to lecture and present both nationally and internationally. He regularly runs hands-on courses for qualified dentists, specialists and digital innovation companies within the dental industry, and has taught undergraduate students at QMUL.
He holds the position of Clinical Lecturer for the Prosthodontic Training Programme at QMUL and serves as an Honorary Prosthodontist at the Royal London Hospital. Michael also teaches as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol Dental School, leading the digital implant dentistry component of the MSc Implant programme — a testament to his standing as a leading implant specialist in the UK.
In 2018, Michael served as a Council Member, Newsletter Editor and Co-Chair of the Early Practitioners within the British Society of Prosthodontics, and was invited to serve as an ambassador for the Young International Team for Implantology (ITI).
He has been awarded a Fellowship by the International Team for Implantology (ITI) — an internationally respected organisation advancing the science, education and outcomes of implant dentistry. Michael is also a Study Club Director alongside Professor Shakeel Shahdad for the ITI London Dulwich Study Club.
As a Key Opinion Leader for Straumann Global, one of the world’s foremost implant and digital dentistry companies, Michael is trusted as a beta-tester for the latest innovations the dental industry has to offer.
His joint research with the Implant team at QMUL has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, placing him at the forefront of innovation in implant dentistry.

Personal
Michael is passionate about dentistry and genuinely loves seeing his patients gain confidence in their teeth and prostheses. He takes time to understand each patient’s individual story, supporting them to improve or maintain their quality of life — ensuring not only a Michelin-standard of dentistry, but a warm, comfortable and well-cared-for experience throughout.
Away from his second home at SDS, Michael enjoys challenging himself physically — having completed the London Marathon twice and most recently Hyrox. He has a deep love of creativity, art and design, which is reflected in his digital dental designs.
Most of all, he finds great solace in spending time with dogs and has volunteered with Puppy Yoga/Therapy London on weekends.
